Gates Family Foundation

Semple Brown crafted this 9,335 sf office space in a historic downtown Denver building with unique features to respond to the client’s role as a philanthropic leader in Colorado. A new roof-top deck combines with flexible conference/reception spaces to offer the ability to host large community gatherings. A raised floor system provides wiring infrastructure – combining sustainability with flexibility – and acoustical absorption for the offices. This project features the work of Colorado artists throughout the suite. The Gates Family Foundation project was awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Buildings Council.

Simplicity at Every Turn

Embracing an inclusive ethos, Hurley Place positions itself with the river as its focal point, inviting diverse communities and fostering economic vibrancy. The Riverfront development is comprised of two residential towers, a hotel tower, and an expansive central open space connecting to the river. This central connector is flanked by food & beverage and retail establishments and serves as both a connection to the Promenade but also a gathering space for the community.
