IMA Financial Group, Inc.

Semple Brown worked with IMA Financial Group to design a new office headquarters around the company’s goal to be the “Healthiest Employer In Denver.” The 65,000 sf facility is designed to encourage interaction and collaboration in an active workplace. A variety of collaborative team meeting spaces supports different workstyles and teams, and an enhanced connecting stair (featuring audio public art) invites staff members to use the stairs rather than the elevators. All of the staff break rooms were combined in a large social/meeting suite on the ground floor, which features complementary healthy foods, a fitness center and Starbucks coffee. The site adjacent to the Denver Union Station transit hub was selected to take advantage of multi-modal transit connections. This project was awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Buildings Council.

Simplicity at Every Turn

Embracing an inclusive ethos, Hurley Place positions itself with the river as its focal point, inviting diverse communities and fostering economic vibrancy. The Riverfront development is comprised of two residential towers, a hotel tower, and an expansive central open space connecting to the river. This central connector is flanked by food & beverage and retail establishments and serves as both a connection to the Promenade but also a gathering space for the community.
