We create spaces that will last and outlast, sustain and endure
Sustainability is essential to timeless work. We approach each project as a chance to design the world we want to live in, in service of our clients, our communities, and our planet.

For us, timeless design means creating resilient places at home equally in today’s landscape and tomorrow’s
Sustainability objectives
Prioritize people
We believe that the future we build must center environmental and social justice. As we design, we aim to preserve and promote prosperity for current and future generations.
Protect the planet
We design for longevity and resiliency, minimizing the use of limited natural resources, embracing electrification, and prioritizing carbon reduction. For us, this starts with protecting existing buildings and extends through our design decisions and internal operations.
Set measurable goals
Change is easy to talk about, but action is what matters. We’re working toward net energy neutrality by 2030. By 2035, we’re targeting net carbon neutrality and net zero water usage. And by 2050, we’re aiming for 100% regenerative energy, carbon, and water.
Engage deeply and continually
Climate change is a collective challenge; the only way to combat it is together. We believe in being generous with the knowledge that we gain and tools that we create, and we actively engage with our local communities to address and advocate for their needs first and foremost.
The most sustainable buildings are the ones that are already built—we’re here to make the most of them
We’re putting our plans into action across our projects and operations
