Hill's Kitchen
Hill’s Kitchen is a café designed to meet the community at every moment of the day—from morning coffee runs and fresh pastries to casual lunches and relaxed dinners. Located steps from its sibling restaurant, Hearth and Hill, in Salt Lake City’s Sugar House neighborhood, Hill’s Kitchen expands Hill Top Hospitality’s presence with a flexible, energetic space that balances grab-and-go efficiency with a welcoming atmosphere for gathering, meeting, and spending time throughout the day.

The design reflects the dual nature of the space: an energetic, production-driven kitchen paired with an inviting café environment where neighbors gather for fresh pastries, wood-fired pizzas, specialty coffee, and all-day dining. An open kitchen serves as the heart of the experience, bringing warmth and transparency to the guest area while highlighting the craft and activity behind each offering. Extending the interior outward, the outdoor patio becomes a lively hub for the neighborhood—supporting everything from quick coffee stops to longer meals and casual gatherings throughout the day.

Simplicity at Every Turn
Embracing an inclusive ethos, Hurley Place positions itself with the river as its focal point, inviting diverse communities and fostering economic vibrancy. The Riverfront development is comprised of two residential towers, a hotel tower, and an expansive central open space connecting to the river. This central connector is flanked by food & beverage and retail establishments and serves as both a connection to the Promenade but also a gathering space for the community.
