Mushrif Central Park Amphitheatre
Semple Brown was commissioned by an international Landscape Architecture firm to design thirteen buildings in Abu Dhabi’s Mushrif Central Park. The Amphitheatre Venue performs as a sculptural backdrop for the Sheikh Zayed Memorial, but also provides an informal shaded venue for cultural and musical events, with support facilities buried into an embracing berm of the Park. The overhead steel structure evokes an image of an elegant ribbon that casts a complex, ever-changing shade on to the stage below; which also provides a fountain plaza. It best represents the meshing of landscape and building.

Simplicity at Every Turn
Embracing an inclusive ethos, Hurley Place positions itself with the river as its focal point, inviting diverse communities and fostering economic vibrancy. The Riverfront development is comprised of two residential towers, a hotel tower, and an expansive central open space connecting to the river. This central connector is flanked by food & beverage and retail establishments and serves as both a connection to the Promenade but also a gathering space for the community.
