Asbury Court
Semple Brown worked with developers Hayden and Barry Hirschfeld to design this ¾ acre site near the Universit y of Denver with 17 townhomes and 3 single-family residences. As par t of negotiations with the neighborhood, the developers agreed to reduce the unit count and give up a retail components, but maintained their vision of a transition from the commercial corridor of Evans Ave. to the single-family neighborhood of Wash Park. Semple Brown’s plans were submit ted and approved for development, but the client sold the land and the plans, and the project was completed by a dif ferent firm. The built design, however, reflects Semple Brown’s work.

Simplicity at Every Turn
Embracing an inclusive ethos, Hurley Place positions itself with the river as its focal point, inviting diverse communities and fostering economic vibrancy. The Riverfront development is comprised of two residential towers, a hotel tower, and an expansive central open space connecting to the river. This central connector is flanked by food & beverage and retail establishments and serves as both a connection to the Promenade but also a gathering space for the community.
